Gabriel Farago new book, Professor K: The Final Quest, is an ensemble cast type of story. What starts as multiple disconnected storylines interweaves into an overarching global conspiracy.

The story starts in the Ottoman Empire with the Sultan (king) on his deathbed. One of the Sultan’s nineteen sons makes a desperate escape from the castle. Quickly the book fast-forwards to modern times. Professor Alexandra Delacroix wins the Nobel Prize for medicine. At the same time, the Pope collapses saying mass. Eventually, the professor will be called to try and treat the Pope for his
Elsewhere a mafia hit causes a fearless prosecutor, an honest police officer to team up. While Journalist Jack Rogan is searching for a reality show winner, who has gone missing.
Author Gabriel Farago has a good knack for mixing historical events and locations with modern pop culture. Part of the story involved a painting being restored and the search for an old medical text hidden from history. Yet at the same time, he has a plotline on the set of a Top Chef, a reality television show.
The author also crafted these seemingly disconnected plot lines to blend in genius ways. I always enjoy stories like this. Each person has a part of the puzzle but how and when they will link is part of the mystery.
Anyone looking for a well-paced thriller with global conspiracy implications this would be a smart purchase. Professor K: The Final Quest will release on October 30, 2018, on Amazon.
